6. mars: Flere Amerikanske firmaer varsler at de nå vil stoppe alt salg til privatpersoner i Norge etter 1. april på grunn av nye Norske momsregler. Myndighetene har bestemt at fra 1 april må alle firmaer som selger for mere enn 50.000 i året til Norge kreve in moms og rapportere til Norske myndigheter. Rock Auto er et av firmaene som stopper salg til Norge, se mail jeg har mottatt under. Dette er dessverre igjen et tiltak som rammer oss som ikke ønsker å leve et A4 liv etter myndighetenes ønske.
On April 1st, the Norwegian Tax Administration will require foreign online retailers to collect, report, and pay VAT on sales to customers in Norway. RockAuto.com does not have the resources to comply with laws that demand adherence to unique accounting standards, financial guarantees, or local Norwegian "fiscal representation." As a result, RockAuto must stop shipping auto parts to customers in Norway at the end of March.
While we have no influence over Norwegian tax laws and we do not know if it will ever become feasible to obey your country's tax rules, we continue to monitor them with the hope that we can resume shipping to Norway someday.
